Get a foam roller and look up IT band stretches and foam rolling. Take care of your body, as much effort should be made for recovery as working out.
I just want to add, If your looking for a quick fix, there are none. Hard work + Knowledge = results. Research and ask professionals.

actually there are a few, they just happen to be either steroidal and/or illegal. the peptide ghrp-6 (increases hgh release naturally) is an example, apparently it has worked miracles on the joints. It's illegal for human use... also HGH has been proven to accelerate joint repair but that is also illegal...

Ghrp-6 is not illegal, you just need a script to use it, and it is in no way a "quick" fix, you need to take it for at least thee months to see any results.

If you are going to chew it, why not just get the liquid?

really? I was under the impression it was a peptide not cleared by the FDA being used strictly for research purposes at the moment and human use was strictly prohibited at the moment due to ongoing research. can you provide additional information on this subject?

HGH ya.. you can get a script for that.

A great joint supplement is Knox gelatin. Its basically the same stuff you use to make jello but without any sugar or coloring. It's relatively inexpensive, you can buy it at any grocery store and you just mix one packet with a small glass of juice and quickly drink it. It helps your body create collagen which keeps ligaments and tendons pliable.
Also, what B Brown said, you have to stretch and roll out your legs. I have been a massage therapist for 13 years. 95% of the sports injuries I have helped treat could have been either prevented or minimized if the person stretched more and had been more flexible. Consistently stretching, using foam rollers and/or body works is imperative to maintaining your body's heath and ability to perform as and athlete. You can take all the fancy supplements in the world, they will not take the place of these things. It's kind of like having a car you never maintain but put premium gas in and expect it to run like a race car. Not gonna happen. Don't get me wrong, supplements will help but only if you give them the proper environment, they can only do so much.
    ...My 2 cents
“It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard ... is what makes it great.”

Talk to a Dr., but You REALLY REALLY do not want to be messing with your body like that. If you are in your late 30's or older then you could consider HGH or GHRP-6 but I don't understand why people think there is a miracle pill you can take to fix all problems when all you need is to put in work. Hard work pays off. Listen to Dawna, She should be considered an expert. She's helped me fix many problems I've had in the past with my back, neck, shoulders and the same symptoms you're describing about your knee.

true. since I started stretching everyday I haven't gotten injured once. Foam rollers are pretty great too. interesting input about the gelatin I've never heard that before.
