Our cops in the USA have very strict rules of engagement. I was talking to a couple of really cool cops in my area and we got to talking about when it is legit and not legit to pull your firearm. They told me that even if I came at them with a knife, they weren't supposed to kill me. It was strange for me to hear that. I thought that if a cop was under any sort of life danger, he could shoot to kill after verbal warnings, proper escalation, etc. Those Brazilian cops may have different rules for using lethal force.
I liked watching them in action by the way. I'm wondering why I didn't see any GSW or blood on the suspect they dragged out to the van though.
