im pretty comfortable with their striking rules, considering just trying to pull guard on them. wondering if there is anyone out there that has found "common" holes in their game.

    Knock em out

Japanese jujitsu is a really broad term. I've rolled with many "JJJ" guys that dabble in BJJ and it all varies. Some are stiff as a plank, some like to do wrist locks, some just played judo, and some basically rolled like a BJJ guy would. I'm also interested in knowing more about JJJ..

Yeah, watch for the usual wrist locks, but don't get too complacent, there could be a guy like Ari there who is also a purple belt in BJJ AND 10th Planet!

It's not likely of course but you never know. So yes, pull guard

I don't know. I would just try to absorb as much as possible rather than trying to out BJJ them on the ground.

Talk to Derek Stewart, owner of 10P Omaha...he's a black belt in JJJ also and a wiz with martial arts and their variations. His JJJ instructor is a JJJ gold medalist too.
