Looks that way....maybe this appearance will shame Royler into the rematch.

I have it on good advice that the Royler Gracie academies world wide are gutted that Royler is playing it like this. They feel that he should want to step on up and support his claims, put this match to bed and move forward from here to help continue to promote the Gracie name in competition. Who could blame the students for wanting Royler to rep not only his name but the entire Gracie movement?

By making this negotiation so difficult, it looks very weak to not only them ( academies and students ) but to the rest of the submission grappling fraternity period.

If it was a fluke, if Eddie Bravo got lucky at all, then shut the f@# up, train your ass off and get it done!
I personally have to agree with Eddie here when he says that he believes Royler really doesn't want it anyway.

If Royler would just stop with the disrespectful comments about Eddie's victory in '03, then I seriously agree without a doubt that Eddie would have never even bothered with the rematch at all.

If I was Eddie, I would be still keep my training on point ( he does anyway, he is always training his ass off every fricken night) as this could be an attempt to distract Eddie into believing its not on, then perhaps finally agree with short notice in an attempt to catch Eddie Bravo off guard. Maybe I am just paranoid, but I would always errr on the side of caution and be within a heartbeat of optimum preparation with the uncertainly in these situations, than the alternative of being caught out and played like a fricken drum for maybe being a little naive Either way, I hope it goes ahead. Its 10th Planet's time now. If anyone wants to stop the incredible momentum that 10 has, you would think it would be him don't you? Considering all he has had to say? I know Eddie's down!

A fighter should fight, a runner should run. I been saying that in my gym for years. If you are afraid to go hard in practice, how can you expect to think under pressure in the cage during an actual fight?! I am a firm believer that going hard makes you better faster than taking it easy to spare yourself some pain. Bas is the man.

    Awesome interview by Eddie.

I think this is an unfair statement though. There are many Gracies. They don't call them a clan for no reason. There are also many lineages within the family. To lump the actions of one in and say that reflects all of them in not right.

Renzo Gracie is a warrior and would never back down from a fight for any reason. Grappling, MMA, or on the street. Roger is the best gi player on earth, he's the only person to win ADCC with all submissions in his weight class and the Absolute class, and is in ADCC again this year. Kron Gracie just got Silver at the Worlds, and once again, is not the type to back down from a fight. Kayron Gracie is a beast right now. So is Gregor Gracie, who did well earning the Bronze at the last ADCC and is in the mix again this year.

I could go on. Royler's actions speak for Royler, and are not indicative of other parties.

The strangest part of all this to me was Royler's comments on the contracts. Did he not think someone was going to call him on that (the fact that there are no contracts at ADCC)? It's an easy claim to investigate, and to assume that no one would follow up on it is crazy.
