I just cant get enthusiastic about watching matches in the Gi. Its a little better when they are wearing white+blue but mostly I just cant see whats going on and it just never seems as fluid.
My short period of training with the Gi left me with the same impression, especially with the lessons/demonstration. I could never see whos leg was whos and where an arm was going and who it belonged to.

I would watch anything Ary Farias does. He is an amazing BJJ practitioner.
