this has been a while in the works for me, and it feels like a serious accomplishment as ridiculous as that sounds. I was not sure if i would be able to attend 10p sherman because its an hour + drive one way to the school, but after a couple of visits I knew it was the right place for me.
The amount of personal attention I get here is insane, i seriously feel like I am getting private lessons rather than going to a full class. I cant credit michael west enough for how legit his skills are, and just how cool he is. I used to attend a team alliance school, which was ok, but the black belt instructor was either too overwhelmed with the amount of students or just simply didnt bother remembering my name. if you live in the dfw area and are wondering about schools I seriously recommend this school not just because its a 10th planet school, but because you WILL learn the skills you need in order to be a competent grappler and its worth every cent. I wont go into details, but I also got a prorated membership because of my long distance travel and it was really generous of them to offer it , as I had no problem paying the full membership which is in itself cheaper than most bjj schools. props to Eddie bravo for bringing a badass like michael west into the fold and allowing us texans to be a part of your jiu jitsu family!
