    I can't resist posting my own list:

    Martial arts:

    • Enter The Dragon
    • The Prodigal Son
    • Police Story (or basically any Jackie Chan movie from that era. Jackie Chan is my hero!)


    Pure adrenaline/action:

    Robocop (I re-watched it fairly recently and I was still amazed at how many bloodbags they get through in that film!)

    • Westworld
    • Predator


    Cheesy but great fun:

    • Running Man (cheesy as hell, best/worst one-liners ever "What happened to Buzzsaw?" "HE HAD TO SPLIT")
    • Live and Let Die (uber cheesy Bond movie - Roger Moore using alligators as stepping stones across water? Check!)

    Showdown in little tokyo, and rapid fire, and the quest, kickboxer, .. All those old MA movies.. Dogs of war.. Man on fire, the real one, not the remake..

    Modern action flicks? There are so many, and they are so good, uhm.. Avatar. Aliens.
    Predator!! (Ok, that's one modern..) Predator, now that was one bad-ass action flick! "This stuff will make you a goddamned sexual tyrannosaur!" (Doesn't work,started doing dip because of that, wait, was that Don frye?)
