Tech Geek advice: Re Droid/Video

So I decided to try shooting some technique video for my next video blog using my Droid (Vortex), however when I imported it to my computer, it lost the audio, I tried it 2X just to make sure, still no audio. Any advice? (besides getting a Iphone you bastards).

Sounds like there could be a missing codec.

which codec to I need, and where to I install them too?

Install em or maybe you arent savig your file on your computer correctly what are you saving it as?

im gonna try it right now with my droid and see what i come up with. as far as codecs are concerned, i use the vlc player. it plays every type of audio or video file no video or audio issues ever with the vlc media player

I use the the windows movie maker, I finally got all the transitions,effects that I wanted, I'd rather not switch players if possible.

Codecs.
Try the k-lite codec pack.
What is the file extension your phone uses?
Are you using movie maker or essentials live movie maker (the original comes with xp and the latter is downloaded from microsoft)?

Yeah....check out VLC player, and make sure you get all the good codec packs listed.
I bet the audio is on there, and you just can't hear it because the player won't read it
or you are simply outdated on your codecs. Keep us updated on the status, I'd be glad
to help more if it's not happening for you.
