Codecs.
Try the k-lite codec pack.
What is the file extension your phone uses?
Are you using movie maker or essentials live movie maker (the original comes with xp and the latter is downloaded from microsoft)?

I got the codec pack, that solved the problem. Thanks guys. Sucks, the video quality came out nice, but the sound isn't as clear as I would have liked. Guess I'll switch back to my video camera for next episode.

shit, my players are working , but there is still no audio when I play it in the movie maker. Suggestions? I'm assuming I should get that converter. my usual AVI converter doesn't recognize the 3gpp format.

Stephen,I got the converter however the quality of the video when down significantly, any possible settings I can change to fix that?


I'm trying to convert it as 2pass (default was one 1pass) not sure if it will make a diffrence in quality.

i dont think its your video...its windows media player.
i had the same problem because most movie files are .MOV format. it will preview it perfectly, but when you save it or try to upload it, it gives you errors. i was fuckin pissed when i figured this out.
check if thats the case...

Its fine when I watch it in the windows media player now, it just looses video quality when I use the Panzera converter.
