Jon Helton is did an amazing job holding down the fort as a blue, that's a helluva task but he did it, the purple belt was over due, congrats soldier

BJJ rank translates to 10th Planet, but not so much the other way around. A lot of times it would depend on your BJJ instructor I imagine. My BJJ rank is through Jeremy Arel and every belt is certified with the IBJJF. The IBJJF has time requirements between rank. Even if Jeremy thought I was ready I would still have to wait just over a year more. It doesn't matter to much to me as long as I can compete at advanced and rep 10th Planet. BJJ rank will come with hard work and time. Ari was in the same situation as he just recently got his BJJ purple. Originally Posted by Jonathan Wylie

Im gonna get all sentimental for minute so bare with me. I remember the first day the website launched Irish, me, and several others were tearin up the forum. Every day we were on bullshittin and talkin bout 10p and drinkin stagnate bong piss or what have you. Never knew I would grow with these guys watchin all of our achievements unfold gaining the utmost respect for many of my nibiru family(yall know who you are). Anyway, I couldnt be happier for ya Jon. Super congrats from the bottom of my soul.
