    10th planet for the Gi

I've been playing around latley with using the rubber guard when rolling with the gi.

Anyone think that there's a lot of potential for using mission control, chill dog, or invisible collar, while also grabbing the back collar? I really think there is a lot of potential for chokes and whatnot .
    has anyone else noticed this?

I train in both gi and no gi and I use most of the techniques. The only variation is with the higher level guys when I whip up to my side they start diggin for my lapel. So you have to watch those gi chokes the same as watching those vice grips.

I have never landed a gi choke outside of drilling, but use the rg whenever possible regardless of attire. Havent landed the hangman in a while, gonna work it tonight.

Eddie once showed a technique were he put his heels in the back collar while in guard. Its like a hands free rubber guard. It makes double arm bars easy. I go for it all the time with the gi, it give pretty good control if you can get it.

As I understand it, 10th Planet Stockholm is using many of these techniques. I've been searching but can't find any further info.

I know that I use the Pyramid and Dog Fight all the time in Gi...there are a ton of positions that can be used to not only control but gain the positional advantage over those that don't train 10P. Prior to 10P STL opening up, I only had opportunity to train 10P in the Gi and occasional NoGi. I have found that the friction with the Gi on is one of the primary obstacles that I've come across. Past that, it's been great for developing both games.
