I have not become a member because I tend to tentatively join anything. The "Taylor's Picture of the Day" thread has become a big joke about rape - a subject I do not find funny. I find it difficult to join the site knowing there are some of you who think joking about rape is funny on any level. This begs the question: Why associate with those who do?

So, here is my question. Who on this site think that rape is funny or something to joke about? If I can an overwhelming number of "yes" responses, then I know that the 10th Planet site is not one in which to participate.

I personally do not think the act of Rape is funny. I do enjoy dark humor though. It seems that there is a majority here that wish to hang out, let loose and talk Jiu Jitsu or simply humor each other. That being said, I don't think people (in general) want to listen to your moral lectures. You are obviosly Troll Bait and I can't believe you sunk this deep into a thread. You pretty much put this on yourself with all the whining you've done. You leave if you feel you need to leave, don't ask for ppl's opinions or look for a petition or poll.

I'm kinda torn here, I don't like rape, I find some of the pictures funny, but unsettling.. but funny.. But, erhh.. It's hard to moderate a forum, and less freedom wouldn't be fun either. In short; when talking to or messaging other people, you will always run across opinions and statements that you don't like. It's all part of being human. Sometimes it's bound to be over the top, but going in the other direction is bad as well. A forum is no fun if you are constantly nervous that you might post something wrong.. (Although there are limits)

Now; What really offended me was the pig. I felt genuinely sorry for that pig, that was horrible. :'(

Christopher, though I respect your right to respond I don't see anything I have posted as a moral lecture. I REALLY hope I do not need to lecture anyone on the immorality of rape. I will attempt to make this as plain as I can: I do not think that Eddie or 10th Planet wants to be associated with joking about rape. If Eddie does not have a problem with it, then that is on him. Women and people who know those who have been raped should not have to feel uncomfortable coming to this board because of THAT.

I hope this explains that I am not "Troll Bait"; this implies that I am ignorant, and I am far from it. I am looking out for the best interest of this site. If my concern is not wanted, then carry on with your jokes and have your name linked to rape jokes.
