yeah the refs tonight suck. In the prelims Oliviara (sp?) won by obvious illegal knee and the ref didn't say a thing.

He was winning anyway. He didn't win by illegal knee. He won by RNC. It was the ref's fault for not stopping it, not Oliveira's for continuing to fight.

Dan M did the right thing in letting it go. Kongo was def rocked like a mother, but he was still competent enough to go for takedowns and intelligently defend. They stop for not intelligently defending, not being rocked. If Kongo wasn't intelligently defending, he wouldn't have been able to recover to come back with that vicious KO.


That being said, that stand up was ridic when story was working that arm. SMH.

The illegal knee fight got ruled a NC I believe.... and it was the worst stand up call ever. He was working hard for the double wristlock.
