wasnt THAT bad...only when you get one with a beak thats started to develop is it too bad.
not saying id eat it everyday...but I definitely paid good money to eat the things people were gagging to eat on a show to win money.
ive had some HORRIBLE things throughout my travels...money brain soup/pudding, shark tail soup, iguana hearts, raw bunny eyes...

That is exactly right. It's an almost about to hatch bird egg. So you get to see the eyes, beak, feathers etc. It's supposed to be a delicacy. I think I was fed them when I was a little kid, but I couldn't even watch someone eat them now as an adult. That's the American palette for ya. Who here has tried balut?
