Well, nothing I said was weak. I think the border system and immigration laws are inherently racist. Whether Brian is or not is up for debate. My comment about him being racist was 33.3% in jest, 33.3% serious, and 33.3% for provocation that might lead to a discussion. The ultimate point I was trying to make is that I would respect him (or anyone else) much more if they just had the nuts to say "I hate X or Y group of people," rather than try to mask it in another issue, or rationalize it through some sort of logic or reason, because the logic or reason simply isn't there. Not saying that he necessarily falls into that category, but I like to leave the bait out there to see if they'll take it.

I grew up fighting hammerskins and all other kinds of WP turds, and the immigration issue is a crutch that they use to justify their much more deeply ingrained prejudices. I'm not as neurotic about it as I used to be, but you're gonna tell me that with a mohawk and your location being Houston, you've never run into any WP skinheads parading their bullshit around as anti-immigration rhetoric? I lived in Houston fairly recently, and they are EVERYWHERE. It was like we revisited the '90s. It's especially thick the farther you travel up I-45.

I know that there are a lot of semantical nuances that don't translate well over the internet, as opposed to us speaking in person, but understand that I'm not attacking you, or really even Brian. I'm trying to hit points that will broaden the discussion.

lol When a typo occurs, it results in an improper spelling of a word. I meant it was unlikely it was unintentional considering every other word was properly typed into the keyboard (208 words according to Word) and the one word that is misspelled happens to be a racial slur. It could be a typo but he spelled Mexico right and the odds are he meant to spell it that way (1:209 is a pretty good ratio). It is a racial slur and when people use them towards other races it is usually understood they are somewhat racist, at least most people.

I do not doubt that you don't know its a racial slur, but it is in the right context. I am Mexican and I grew up in a area that used that term as a racial slur. So I'll chalk it up as ignorance on your part. I probably don't know all of the racial slurs for Indians so I won't hold it against you if you don't know all of them for Mexicans.
He could clear it up and say he didn't mean it that way. I'd believe him. But taken the context of his post and the word used, theres a likely hood it was meant with some racial tension attached.
I sometimes give the benefit of the doubt, but not always.

LoL, This was funny while I've been away. I have been training hard for my next tournament this Saturday & haven't had the time to be on the computer. I wouldn't say that I am racist, because I don't discriminate anyone for their race. But I do discriminate for their habits etc etc... But yes I agree it is the system for failing to operate effectively. Which system do I speak of, well you tell me. Thanks for all the replies fellas.
