    The #1 difference in my training - kettlebells. I am not a big guy (6'0", but only 150 lbs.), and I am no muscle-nut, but they help core and dynamic motion in general so well.

    #2 - circuits. Not only do they let you alternate muscles to go longer, but they train burst-style energy. Also, they let you switch it up a lot so that exercise isn't as monotonous.

    And a bonus - we have recently been playing around with headstands (on the forearms) and drills around balance while in that position. It's really cool for cartwheel passes and just generally making butterfly sweeps a nightmare for the guy on bottom.
