The Hating Continues...

I thought I was prepared to hear the unwarranted animosity towards 10PJJ as I'm familiar with Eddie's story. My brother trains as a Royce Gracie affiliate & he definitely has heard it. I kind of thought it was just haters from the various Gracie schools that I had to watch out for but I was wrong.

I was caught off guard yesterday when I went to my 1st wrestling practice at a new Drysdale affiliate that opened only 30 minutes from my house. I am going to train there twice/week wrestling & jiujitsu. One instructor, originally from an Ohio George Gurgel school, started hating on 10th Planet for no reason in the middle of class. I don't even remember how he got on the topic but while teaching he just brought up some guy that trained 10th Planet & blah blah blah - "so HE DOESN'T KNOW SHIT!"

The extreme venom & negativity in his voice surprised me. It's one thing to think your system is better (everybody does) but to hate like that - what fucking purpose does it serve?

All I know is that I have an uphill battle changing minds here but I am determined to do so. I'm going to keep heading up to learn from coach Herzog & Scott Yockel once/month & working my 10th Planet technique with my own crew here in Fredonia. Every time I come to Charlotte Jon Helton is dropping knowledge on me too. With your help guys I'm going to REP THE SHIT out of the system at this Drysdale school & look forward to posting some success stories on that front soon.

My planned Saturday trip to Rochester 10PJJ at the Empire Academy just got an elevated level of intensity in my head!

People Fear what they don't understand, Hate what they can't conquer! Train your asses off with legit 10th Planet practitioners/Instructors. Beat these fools on the mats. 10thpjj is just now scratching the surface of Jiu Jitsu!!! The future is very bright for 10th Planet!!!!Can you say that about the Gracies...No..they have plateaued and after this Royler incident, I would say most of them (not all) are only living off of past achievements. I believe 10thPJJ will lead the BJJ community into the future. What will 10thPJJ look like in 10 years?

Just like in life, it's the little things that seem to matter in 10th Planet,
like when someone taps out to a Lockdown, because they don't have
anywhere to go or know what to do and damn it doesn't feel good.
Or when you get a good grip on the RubberGuard, and they have no
choice but to let you work from the bottom.

actually graphite & diamond are both forms of carbon, not lead.
