What kind of take-downs are their for 10th planet jj?
This question came up on the trip to c3 today. What if any, take-downs are their for 10th planet jj? or is it pull guard? but what about at tournaments when you cant pull guard because then you loose to take-down points?

Everything you can think or dream from Wrestling: greco, freestyle and college and judo. I thinkake downs are on the individual. Jiu jitsu tourny's, I don't think give points if you jump to guard, only if your opponent takes you down with control.

All of them. Just look at Mike DewittKs highlight reels he gets more takedowns then guard pulls. 10th planet is just as much about top game as it is bottom
People mistake the system for just Twisters, Rubber Guard and Half-Guard. It's a complete Jiu Jitsu system just like any other school, which involves top game, wrestling and others. It's all about expanding your game Mike Dewitt's the perfect example.
Thanks, I'll looking into him. I prefer top game but since my back injury I've been forced to evolve my bottom game. The tournament I had yesterday didn't score points for the first half of match so you could pretty much pull a sloppy guard w/o worry of loosing TD points. Thats what I did.
Im a top game kinda guy aswell but I've never practiced a take down a day in my life so I try to sprawl & stuff or get to HG ( my rubber guard aint there yet )
