Today I joined a gym. Midwest Training Center in the burbs of Chicago. I thought I would be participating in my first Jiu Jitsu class tonight. I was wrong. I got my times mixed up. I did however take part in my first Muay Thai class. Holy crap what a workout. That class kicked my ass. It got me all excited for the future.
For now I will have Jiu Jitsu 2 nights a week and Muay Thai 2 nights a week. This should help me drop some weight. Once I get some of the Jiu Jitsu basics down I will hit up North Chicago on Saturdays when available.
I figured sharing my journey might be cool, maybe someone will get inspired. As of today July 18th 2011 I weigh 325 pounds. Let's see how fast I drop weight
