What to do when you love JJ but have no extra income for a serious Camp? After seeing the early ufc's on up to A silva era (too many greats to name) Ive totally fallen in love with JJ. I had an opportunity to train with a few guys from Serra's gym here in Longisland New York and a family member that trained @ the Gracie academy in Manhattan and eat up every second of it. Needless to say my desire to advance in the sport just keeps getting worse! 27, 6' 170 3 years rolling, Not looking to change the world or win/defeat anyone.. Just love the sport. I'll clean mats for training time? lol What to dooo? I cant be the only broke one here am I?

hmm I wonder why........

You have a few options, you could look at your budget, slash some luxuries and put that money into training at a school, it likely won't be much more than a hundred a month. Or you could look for some like minded people in your area and buy some mats. There are always people who want to train but don't want to pay or get caught up in a contract. Then become a pro member on this site and drill the MTS's or buy some video instructionals, Glover, Marcelo, 10th Planet All Stars.

Thats basically what im doing now, I study every instructional and fight I can get my hands on while finding people in the same situation (not many) and the few that are willing to roll aren't exactly.. High level lol, Guess I'm just hoping that someone like Eddie, Marcelo ect.. will read this and say "hmm I should take him under my wing and teach him everything I know" hahah yea, phat chance lol but yea im open to roll/learn with anyone I have so many things I see everyday that I want to drill learn... none of my friends even understand what is going on or have any kind of interest unfortunately
