Reminds me of the Marius Zeromskis (sic) and his backflip to the guy on the floor. The front flip works a lot better, as it works as a guard pass and doesn't give up your back

In open mat I usually do the gentler version, where you just shoulder roll over their shins into a scramble for north south. I usually only do it when I'm frustrated by someone's open guard. It's sort of like a kamikaze attack.

I've also seen a simpler version. Take double underhooks on the guy's legs from butterfly, but then basically stick your head in the gap between his ass and your chest and follow your head with your whole body. It looks awesome, as long as you don't care about having your head literally on someone's ass for a second.
