Liver Shots....

I never knew....

I was cleaning out my DVR this morning and watched the replay of the recent Dream GP and Titan Fighting Championships 19, I saw two guys go down via liver shots, how nasty. I mean live rshot > curled up in a ball on mat > heaving your head pounded in > Ref stops the match.

Anyone ever take one of these?

I worry more about blocking my liver more than blocking my head. a lot of guys are conditioned for 1, but if they drop their hands a little after the 1st, then the 2nd will almost always put them down.

A liver shot feels like a light kick to the nutz but you cant breath. Bas's videos are up there with the best videos. All of them.

Yeah, it feels like you have soar testicles inside of your chest and you can't reach them or do anything about them. And I only got lightly hit in the liver.

While your thinkin up striking combos you start thinking, could I be hit in the liver while doing this.

Getting hit there while exhaling is not as bad, breathing loud can set you up for body shots
