    I don't understand how she got off with nothing in Canada if she didn't get charged for murder she still would have got neglect causing death which is still 10 years.

    It's pretty much because one of the jurors had a cruise that week and if they convicted her of any of the major charges then they had to stay another week and he would miss it. so im guessing he fought like hell to convince them not guilty. It started off majority found guilty then that changed for some reason.
