Yes!! That was my first thought too...skullbinding. In some of his older texts though I found him talking about specific skulls (the starchild skull in mexico was one example he gave) and how there was proof that many of the skulls found in and around peru and mexico could not have been human (cranial capacity, bone density, dna tests, no soft spots on head etc.).
