What moves are "renamed"?
I really hate hearing that.
I sit back (hopefully not blindly) and can't think of any.
I mean...changing it from 3/4 guard with a Meat Hook to "New Jersey" isn't quite renaming...its being way more specific.

end of the day if i bust a guy in the head with a straight right or a back handed knife chop your still getting hit in the head so if going for a figure four body lock or a anaconda helps me stick on a dudes back who cares i wonder why no one brings up Tony Cecchine calling a kimura a figure four double wrist lock or what ever the fuck he calls it

Great posts. That's what it is. Change is coming. More and more we're seeing 10th moves make their way into major MMA and grappling events and prove their effectiveness causing a lot of haters to swallow their words. Now you got major players toying with the truck. Twister in the UFC. Major names admitting they're 10th planet fans.

But then you got dudes like Frank Trigg who refuses to call rubber guard a "rubber guard" and insists it's a "high guard." SMH. Other dudes ignorantly claiming Eddie is acting like bla bla bla then passing it onto their students. Just give it time. Eventually it'll just be undeniable.


I appreciate Eddie's level head about the hate. He's just letting the proof speak for itself.
