What Eddie says is that if you're going to open a school, the main thing is that you be able to hold down the fort. If it's a 10th Planet Affiliate, as the instructor, you become a target. Dudes are going to be lining up at the door to prove that your techniques don't work. If you can't handle that type of heat, and you get tapped out left and right in front of students by random dudes, then business is probably not going to be so good. Also, it looks bad for the system if you are representing them as an instructor.
It reminds me of that white Karate guy that got his ass BEAT in UFC 2. That shit was funny! I bet he didn't have very many students stick around after that.

Just keep doing your thing dude. As white belts we need to concentrate on developing our own game much more than the ability of others.
I enjoy teaching and helping others too but at our level the more we show our skills while they're being developed the higher the chance of stunting our limited ability.
It's kind of like telling someone "I'm gonna come at you with a jab, cross uppercut" and then wondering how they block it.
I have to travel to see my moon and get there about six times a year so the in-between time at my regular mma gym I have to rep the tech I get the best I can.
If people ask help them out, keep working towards your dream of running a school but wait till your at least a blue I personally would hold out till purple especially if there's a bjj black belt in your area you'd have to compete with.
And remember the better practitioner you are the better teacher you can be, competing is definately an advantage.
