You obviously don't understand what Joe meant then when he said its stupid for people to take comics serious when they say funny or sometimes borderline fucked up shit when their...being a freakin comic ,now of course if someone just being plain serious and saying racist shit that's a different story ,but when a comic or comedian or when someone is obviously trying to make people laugh and be funny its stupid for people to take them serious.

I agree with EL DIABLO, i just don't see how you can call joe a racist. Saying joe rogan is a racist means that you didn't really listen to what he was saying and what he is about. You just hear a bit here and there and immediately make assumptions, that's the only way i can understand your position.

i didn't say joe is racist, i said he says racist shit, comedy or not, calling a room full of black people "planet of the apes" can be considered racist by a lot of people. i don't think joe is a real racist. but i can't speak for everybody. my firend listened to the podcast & asked me why i even like this quote " racist as mother fucker " & i had to calm him down a bit & explain joe's rational. & comedy doesn't give you a blank check to say whatever, michael richards found that out the hard way

Listen, you can't slam someone for being racist after that thread about British people which was 100% racist.

Personally I think all the political correctness is holding us back as a country. Racism isn't cool, hating someone for the color of their skin or what they believe is ignorant, I don't think anyone argues that. But in a country that is as multi-cultural as the USA, of course there are going to be clashes of beliefs religious/social/political etc but making light of the situation is always the best way forward. All the things that make us different, one thing that can bring us together is a sense of humor. If we can all learn to laugh with each other instead of getting butt hurt every time someone says something that hurts our feelings, I think, at the end of the day the world will be a better place. After all, laughter is the best medicine.
