Was deployed to Iraq for a year with the Army in 2009. Taught No Gi Grappling especially Rubber Guard and leg locks to fellow soldiers.

Started using rubber guard after watching Shinya Aoki, also proud owner of Mastering the Twister and Mastering the Rubber Guard.

And finally my techniques video, I thought I read somewhere it was to be 5 mins long. I recently did a search and saw it was supposed to be 15. UPDATED: (Oct 2 2011) This is Andrew Tenneson's first MMA match that happened 2-3 weeks ago. He won via heel hook. I hope that this helps in pushing the case to earn his blue belt from Mr. Bravo. Thanks again for everyone's support.

1st of all, Thank you for your service to our country, I personally am very grateful for people like you.
2nd, nice rolling it's good that you have been active in tourney's. I am pretty sure one of the major issues will be that there was no 10th planet gear worn or 10th planet gang signs thrown up to show that you were/are indeed repping 10th pl. I found this and I think it's from Eddies directly:

For those of you that are not enrolled in an official 10th Planet school, you will need to post on your 10th Planet profile 10 competition wins on video with a 10th Planet patch on your shorts in every match(you can have other school patches too). Plus 5 10th Planet technique videos. 1 of all the half guard u know, 1 of all the rg u know, 1 of all the twister u know, 1 of all the deep hook transitions u know, and 1 of all the passes u know, all unedited in one swoop. You gotta show me how much you know without looking at notes. Then you get a promotion, either blue, purple or brown. Every promotion no matter what color will require the same 15 videos. Naturally the 5 technique videos will be critiqued alot harder for a purple than a blue, or for a brown than a purple. 10th Planet head instructors that are non black belts can only rank their students to blue. All Nibiru warriors that enrolled in official 10th Planet schools that are run by non black belts that want to get their purple or brown must be first recommended by their instructor and then submit 5 technique videos to this site. 1 of all the half guard u know, 1 of all the rg u know, 1 of all the twister u know, 1 of all the deep hook transitions u know, and 1 of all the passes u know, all unedited in one swoop. For those of you that are interested in a 10th Planet rank and are not
enrolled in an official 10th Planet school, you will need to be a member of
10thplanetjj.com for at least 6 months. No one walks into a new school and
gets ranked right away no matter how good they are, you have to prove your
loyalty. You will then need to post on the Nibiru forum 15 competition wins
on video with the 10th Planet logo on your person in every match(you can
have other school patches too). The final test will be you making a 10
minute video, uncut and unedited of you running thru everything you know 1/2
guard, everything you know rubber guard, everything you know twister and all
the deep hook transitions to spider web. Do not teach to the camera just run
thru all the techs swiftly and call out the names of the positions and moves
as you go thru them. Everything should fit in a 10 minute video that I will
evaluate. I need to see that you have at least 75% of the system down.

If you don’t have a patch on your shorts then just flash the 10th Planet
gang sign into the camera before or after your match. It’s easy, right hand
pointing down, left hand making an “O” with the thumb on top. That will be
enough for me

Speaking as a fan of 10th Planet and not as someone qualified to judge the accuracy of 10th Planet techniques, I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the techniques video you posted. Must have taken a lot of work to sequence so many techniques.
