how is federal welfare unconstitutional??? Feds can tax, they can distribute said tax. what is unconstitutional about it. it was made to help people that need a little lift. Why should that charity/welfare be allowed to buy drugs, whether its pot, or crack. thats just stupid.

And eventually, all the slaves were freed and unemployed, no jobs for them. So they resorted to crime for survival and got imprisoned @ Angola prison. Where they got to work for free picking cotton all over again. Well... for the government this time...

Think about it this way. If you and 4 other people were trapped on a deserted island, you'd get to work surviving. What would happen to the person who refuses to aide in that survival and instead leaches off of your fruitful effort? That's welfare when people don't work to get off of it. We're all just on one big-ass deserted island. We've got a lot of people leaching off or our efforts.

I would encourage to read this and explain to me where it says the Fed can take my money and give it to another person, if you can then i would gladly change my position!

Now wrt the fact that our founding fathers had slaves; I would challenge anyone to find me a country that was founded under perfect circumstance, meaning that the people who founded a country or created the standard by which that country operates was beyond fault. I don't believe you can because no man (or woman) on this earth is perfect PERIOD.

Same holds true of where does it say they can't? That link shows the process of passing and finalizing a bill. The Constitution was not the end all be all of laws to include everything we'll ever need, we have to adapt to the times. There are bills passed on the welfare program every year...

Im not expert, but I don't think it does. I read a good piece of this about the 10th amendment and I gather it says it can do whatever they want as long they don't step on the toes of the states. And they have been tested for stepping on toes and have it has been discovered that taxing is not.

I don't want the money that comes from my paycheck that I worked for to go to someone who is addicted to an illegal drug, whether pot should be legal or not is an entirely different argument.
