This one reminds me of a basset that i had when i was little... her name was Elvira.

this sexy lil bitch is Alba. yes like jessica- but no.
Alba means "morning sun" in italian.
The other one is Sunshine...my old call name from flight school.

Hadn't noticed a difference really. She likes me the best (she better).

She's kind of a wuss actually, unless shit's gettin real with another dog
or someone is being a a creep outside. She's really good about knowing
if someone outside the door is a friend or foe.
If someone broke in and blew bubbles at her though, she'd freak out,
but she ain't afraid of any people or dogs, fuckin weird.

Interesting... With my dog there is a huge difference. He listens to me better than he does anyone else, but could give a fuck less about protecting me. However, he would fight a pack of roided up chimps with knifes if they even considered fucking with my girlfriend. Which is why I think my next German Shepherd should be a female. I have this theory that dogs are more protective of opposite sex owners. I could be way off, and my dog really just wishes death on me.

Haha....that sucks. Mine is funny man, she's protective, but only
when shit get serious. When I'm wrestling with someone and it's
getting rowdy, she'll run up and bite me instead of them, that kind
of sucks if that happened when it got real around there.

The females are cool though, mine has been dominant over all the
male Shepherds she's been around. My buddy's got one from the
same litter, and they're both pretty badass. They're really loyal
dogs from what I've seen, sounds like yours is just loyal to your girl
instead of you, which is cool, saves you the trouble.

Could be true, I had a Bull Mastiff, Female, she was 140lbs and she was the nicest sweetest dog ever but any time my friends or even my brother and I would wrestle she would bite the shit out them because she thought she was protecting me, I loved it so I used to always pretend to fight with my Bro just to get her bark at him. Best dog ever.

I agree I think boy dogs tend to be more protective over females, I can be at home sleepn soundly.. someone comes in the house up stairs and he will let out a small growl. Rehash that same situation, but place my girlfriend in bed with me and he will slam head first into the door snarlng and barking like hes going to run down the devil himself should be on the other side. He gets protective over my room mates girlfriend as well should they start to wrestle. Hes super calm around kids, rolls to his back and just lays their like hes playing dead. Hell we've had him shove his head between us if we are wrestling and just stand there and bark at me like hes given me a lecture. Pits are a goofy ass breed all together, but after owning two now, i dont think I will ever be able to not have one by my side.
