That was sick. After the standup around 2:00 or so, I thought, "Oh no, she only got an advantage and now she's getting double legged. She's going to lose on points after dominating." Then I removed my foot from my mouth as she instantly swept to mount, giving no points and taking 6. The equivalent of basketball's 4-point play.
The kid in the background is enthusiastic and funny, but he needs to listen a little more to the guys around him, who seem to be giving great advice. Toward the end, the guy whispers, "Tell her to turn his thumb up" and the kid says, "It is", without telling her. It's not, and that would have ended the fight. Then, the kid tells her to try to cartwheel into a head/arm choke at the end of the fight, rather than staying in position and ensuring a win. The guy laughs and says "no, stay there Lauren." I appreciate the support, and I love hearing friends scream for me when I fight, but if your game is not as strong as hers, you might not want to distract her 17 times a minute with advice. Just my 2 cents.
