Who's got long-time experience with polyphasic sleep? Especially regarding sports performance I'd like to hear about how this very unusual sleeping pattern helped you or made your performance suffer.
Tim Ferriss' book "Four Hour Body" has a section on this as does his blog http://www.fourhourworkweek.com/blog/. The book also has some other neat sections on performance enhancement. I haven't had any experience myself but hope this helps.
