No. You just have half the story. Plants are filled with carbon.. obtained from CO2. When a plant dies or loses its leaves or bark or whatever, the subsequent decay process releases that carbon back into the atmosphere as CO2. Same with animals. If there isn't oxygen about the end product is Methane.

So lets stop eating meat... and plants!
humm i didn't even take biology in highschool so i thought plants took in carbondioxide and made oxygen.

So what about feeding the dead people to the animals that would be good right?

Well you could have just looked at my post above yours for the answer. Plants don't 'make' anything. There is a set, static amount of carbon/oxygen/hydrogen/whateverelementyouwant on this planet since the dawn of its existence. It is an essentially closed system. Nothing enters or leaves except heat/radiation and the occasional astronaut/spacemonkey. Only its form/combination changes. Plants take in CO2/H20 to make hyrdocarbons.. which are consumed by people/animals which make C02/H20...which is taken in by plants. This is simplified of course. (And yes, people make water. H20 is the end product of oxidative phoshorylation in which oxygen serves as the final terminal acceptor for electrons during aerobic metabolism binding with 2 protons forming cellular water... sorry just trying to preempt some replies)

Another stupid argument, not enough people give money to starving children all over the world so should we all just stop?

And I'd have to disagree about the meat eaters being more intelligent argument, the amount of times I've seen some drooling semi retarded zombies at mcdonalds stuffing their face with that greasy bullshit is ridiculous, something tells me most of them didn't study at hardvard.

Just so you know I am a meat eater and I do support free range farms I just hate to see people get online and spout their ignorant generalizations.

Your post tells me everything I need to know about your 'argument.' There is no point arguing with you as your writing and thoughts have already threw in the towel. Do the world a favor and kill yourself before you can multiply.
