don't worry, form is very important to me. refer to my reply to willy J. deep squats, a few inches below parallel, pulling yourself slowly into the pocket with your hip flexors, back straight, not curved, chest out, hand position evenly apart, keeping your knees behind the tips of your toes, pushing out through your heels, explode to starting position.

Sky is the limit dude, Darren Sproles is 5'6" 180lb and Squats over 800lbs and Benches over 400, but when I played LB in College at 225lbs my max squat was 550lbs and bench was only 350. How old are you and what are your intentions? I didn't start lifting for power until I was 16. Now I'm 29 and I don't lift for power anymore just for endurance and explosiveness. It's ok to have a little ego but never ok to have bad form just to get a couple extra lbs on a lift.

wow. Well, I'm 21, my intentions are to increase my explosiveness and leg strength for jiu jitsu. I want to cultivate a wrestlers type of ability to explode out of position. Alongside proper technique of course.
