MMA schools are good at making " Jacks of All Trades " & " Masters of None " learn your jit's at an jiu jitsu only school, your muy thai at a muy thai school, wrestling at a wrestling school. Even though I did muy thai in countless fights growing up. I'll never tell a perspective student that I can teach them jiu jitsu and muy thai just to " make money" Unfortunately, this happens all the time with karate & muy thai schools trying to act like they can teach jiu jitsu and leaving many holes in unsuspecting students game. Example: a mma fighter told me he was a " Green Belt " in Jiu Jitsu, I laughed and told him there is no " Green Belt " in BJJ. He insisted I was wrong after 14 years of studying jits. Then his own instructor said he got his "Green belt" from a former kickboxing now MMA school. So that dude has the Pervervial " Mixed Messages Belt "
