I have been taking Alphabrain for a little over a month now and have had a noticable change while on it.. It is hard to explain exactly what it does.
The first thing I always notice is the feeling of being more "clear" or lucid. I was able to achieve this with a dose of 2 pills, or more prominently with 4. This is extremely noticable for a few hours but seems to benefit me for most of the day.
I also noticed a shift in my thought process towards a more rational and less emotional or personal orientation. This was much more prominent with a dose of 4 pills, but still measurable with 2.
An increase in frequency and intensity of dreams is another effect most people report. Aubrey recommends taking 2 pills in the morning, and another 1-2 in late afternoon for these results, but I had no memorable dreams with this dose. Taking 2-4 pills 1-4 hours before bedtime however yielded the desired results. This seems to be pretty unusual though, as everyone I have talked to says they got results with Aubrey's recommended dose. I have had intense, vivid dreams on a weekly basis for as long as I can remember though, so maybe I'm wired a little different. Still, taking Alphabrain just before bedtime seems to guarantee me an intense memorable dream.
The last thing I have noticed when I take a 2-4 pill dose at night, is that the next morning I take some big fat dumps right when I wake up. Usually it takes my body 1-3 hours to get things moving. I believe this effect is most likely attributed to either Roll On or Roll Over (Aubrey's other suppliments) that I take with Alphabrain sometimes, but felt it was relevant information.
Overall I love it, except for the price. I no longer take it daily as it is just too expensive, but do use it a few times a week depending on what I am doing that day. I also had mixed results with taking Alphabrain then getting high, I'm still undecided on if that is a good combination, they seem to interfere with each other or something.
