Have you guys heard about this shit?
I've got a friend who swears to me he's used it successfully multiple times, but he's a compulsive liar so I never know what to believe out of him.
I can't imagine you're not extremely exposed to prosecution when you order illegal drugs through the internet, no matter how well they think they've set up their network or encrypted their data.
I'm a little unfamiliar with how exactly these BitCoins work, I've never used them, only heard of them referred to as an "anonymous online currency" and I know some people play the BitCoin exchange rate game and try to buy low/sell high just like other currency traders. Anyone use BitCoins on a regular basis? What's the deal? Are they legit or could that bubble burst at any time rendering your "anonymous online currency" worthless? Or, on the other hand, is online currency the future of money? Personally, I could see it going either way.
As a legal scholar, I'm very curious about the legal issues surrounding this silk road shit and BitCoins in general. I'm going to be asking some of my law school professors and some of the attorneys at my firm what they think, but I figured the Nibiru community might be able to shed some light on the subject as well since the majority of us are forward thinkers.
(Let me just add that regardless what the results of my research are, I will not be attempting to order drugs through that website, I'm merely trying to satisfy my intellectual curiosity.)
