It's Official... Time To Grow Up And Put Away Kids Things !!!!!!!!

I guess I have to face the fact after competeing at Fredonia tournamnet Saturday that I will not be allowed to compete in the division I belong in anyplace I go. It has been that way at NAGA for a while and now has worked its way down to smaller tourny's.

They tell my dad and me I'm to big for the 12-13 group I belong in even at heavyweight. (I am 5'10 160 pounds now) They tell us parents and coach's are pulling there kids out when I'm being left to fight where I'm supposed to.

So I competed at the 15-16 advanced division. I pulled a silver in Gi and bronze in No Gi.
Stacked divison hard fights. I don't mind having to work to place, but I had hoped of winning a national title this year. (which I know I could have done if left in my 12-13 divisions) Not going to happen where I fight now. Every kid I face now is a badass !!!.
My dad and coach's tell me, it's just making me more of a killer as I grow up.....lets hope !!!!lol.

I will try to post a couple of my wins later, see what you guys think.

the sooner you become used to tougher competition, the better. it will only make you a better grappler in the long run.

Honestly, you're pretty big for a 13 year old. I'm 22 and you're 15lbs heavier than me and the same height.

Keep in mind that if you're going against 15-16 year olds and taking silver and bronze, you're at a good level. If a goal is too easy to achieve, you don't work for it and never improve. If a goal is too hard, you risk giving up entirely. Keep it up buddy. You're at a key age for growth and development. You're going to be wrecking shop even harder in no time.
