Jarhead is a derogatory word towards Marines and Marines only make up about 13% of the United States military. You make no sense. You have no idea why military members join or devote their service to their country. You're really believing the things you type aren't you? First of all, I am a Marine, and the word jarhead being used by us, towards us, isn't true. I have been around, interacted, and talked to hundreds, if not thousands of other Marines and never has the word jarhead been used. Sorry but watching movies just isn't a very good credible source for your info. I am sitting here, with first person experience telling you.... You're wrong. Working for free? If that was an option, your statement might have some ground but since it isn't there no saying how many would. But to be honest we get food, water, shelter, medical, and the money we do get isn't something to brag about. On deployments I can tell you that the word money is the last thing on our minds so using that as an incentive for justifying our enlistment during a time of war probably doesn't explain it.

This one man experience is more experience than your zero experience. Correct? My experience than automatically overrides anything you think you know by presenting facts over your guesses. Nobody said that word has never, as an absolute by anyone else, been used but because of that to say it is a common trend amongst Marines is completely false. You're obviously anti-America, anti-life, and can't believe anything but what is circling around your brain so I think we are done here. Nice try though.

Lol. Incredible. If every single Marine that reads this were to say "hey dude, we dont use that word towards each other, it's not common like you say", you would argue with them. Its ok to be wrong bro, we aren't always right. Comment on what you know and you'll be alright. Me being a member of what you said brings more credibility than your anti-American slander.
