sight isn't the most important. perception takes many forms. I roll with a def student every once and a while. it's difficult only because you can't yell "tap" as easily. but i'd rather loose my sight than stop rolling with all 4 limbs.

My first competition I saw a blind guy roll. Not legally blind...blind! One of the toughest guys there and definitely the most heart. He held his own. I'd be proud to train with a guy who has a disability and that much heart.

funny you posted this thread i spent a couple of hours today learning about how to make your business meat the regulations of serving peapole with disabilities, and by the end of next month all employees that deal with the public must have this training. So Ontario should be a nice place to go in the future.
