Yeah he was working for a guillotine, which is one of his main offensive weapons, as he even uses the guillotine to pass the guard all the time.

I have almost no idea what Rafa is doing most of the time, he rolls on his shoulders, does some crazy leg work and ends up on the guys back. I re-watched that transition over and over to make sure I got it, it was beautiful.
