    2009 ADCC – 99kg+: Champion
    2007 ADCC – 99 kg+: Champion
    2005 ADCC – 99 kg+: 3rd Place
    2003 ADCC – 99 kg+: 2nd Place
    2003 ADCC – Absolute: 3rd Place
    CBJJ Pan American Championship
2003 PAC – Black Belt Absolute: 2nd Place

2001 PAC – Purple Belt Absolute: Champion

And because he was competing and in the heat of the moment he forgot to pinch his knees? Doubtful. Im willing to bet he could be in a coma and would still pinch his knees. Its called muscle memory

Could it be that a textbook armbar was being negated by a textbook armbar escape?

I was going to bring this up too but I didn't want people saying that I've never fought in the UFC, so who I am to say. GSP didn't even have the thump up either. Another case of people thinking a guy has rubber arms.

So it's either he forget to pinch his knees or he actually does armbars without pinching his knees. Which one is it because it's clear as day that he did not pinch his knees.

Maybe he's just so awesome and wasn't actually trying to armbr him. Maybe he was trying to submit him with his chi OR maybe he was trying to submit him by taking a dump on his arm. I dunno I'm not Werdum. Agree to disagree and move on.
Big congrats to Vinny. Big win man!
