Since that old thread was deleted, I have surprisingly had a several people ask me to repost that video. Our guys are hitting it live pretty easy, so I hope someone else can find some use in it as well. Thanks for taking the time to watch.
The original poster deleted it cause he thought I was upset that he posted it. I wasn't, just wanted to let Eddie see it first. After it was deleted, several people asked for me to repost the link.
I am *so* trying that Monday! I have gotten into that position most of the times I successfully pass their hands. Using a Thai clinch really annoys guys that just wanna tug at my collar, and with a little neck control I find most of my success from there.
Thanks for the video! I can't wait to see if I remember to do that instead of panic the next time I roll.
I love that move... My brother has been tapping dudes out with that for at least 4 years from the back. It's slightly different than the way he's been doing it and setting it up but same general finish! He always trapped the arm with the doerksen and then wrapped his arm behind the head to finish the technique... this way seems like it might have a higher percentage of success than his version. I'm gonna run this by him and see what he thinks... awesome post thanks!
