    Yoga for strength.?

    Hi
Use to compete in gymnastics as a youngster, so I know how to get flexible etc.
Im looking to get into yoga to compliment this, as I belive you should also be strong in a big range of motion as well as being flexible and having good strong control.

    My question
What form of yoga is strength based? Im not interested in the relaxation or meditation side of yoga, only the movements that get you the best results in terms of strength and flexibility.
    Thanks

Astanga Yoga works for me. The relaxation and meditation parts are extremely helpful, but the focus is on flexibility and dexterity. We do around 5 minutes of relaxation per class, the rest is taken up with Vinyasa's and poses
