That was my goal for the session; to pull off an oldschool sweep from lockdown. I have been struggeling a bit with it, so I checked it out in "mastering the rubber guard" and saw that I have to let go of the lock down..duh..

this is gonna be a bit cliche but check the tutorial videos on bjpenn.com. He goes over all the basic passes and has a 101 flow that no matter what your rank has total relevance and simple to follow information that covers important details.

I love tenth planet stuff, but I truly feel it's gonna be challenging to properly add that to your game without understanding certain fundamentals.

I participated in ADCC Norway here in Oslo today. I was in the beginner -76.9kg division. My preparations for this competition were aweful as I got a flu with a high fever that lasted 3 days, and this started on Monday. I got apocillin on wednesday and was fever free on thursday so I decided to go to the competition.

I weighed in at 72.5kg.

I have to figure out how to train on a regular basis.. There will be no progress if I keep on training Jiu Jitsu 1-2 times per month.
