He is. Interviews and such have confirmed this. He's been on record admitting getting up to 190 before. Alves saying that he bulked up and might even be bigger than Georges for their fight. GSP being a big welter has been common knowledge for a while. I don't buy this whole BS about him being a small welter. I think they're trolling like back when GSP said he doesn't believe in strength and conditioning and only lifts weights for the ladies. I think these guys are just having fun at web forum's expense.

Dude, Gray Maynard has to cut a lot of weight to get to 155. GSP is way bigger than Maynard. If GSP COULD get down to 155, I'd be interested. I just doubt it. GSP moving up sounds like it makes sense. Even if he didn't fight AS, It would still be impressive for him to move up in weight to beat a "heavier" opponent. I mean, Anderson beat James Irvin who's not a huge deal, but we were still impressed.

No way GSP goes to 155 without looking like a skeleton.
