First, this is a message board. This IS the place to offer opinions on matters that sometimes (often times) don't actually involve us. Welcome to the 21st century.

Second, I can assure you I know what a belt feels like. Along with an extension cord, a water hose, the biggest switch I could pick, a pepsi bottle, a mayonnaise jar, an ashtray and all five of my dads fingers across the side of my face. It's not that he hit her with a belt that I have a problem with. It's the anger and belittling of his daughter. It's the verbal beating he's putting on her because how dare she be disobedient.
