Crab ridin is stallin, but leg riding is offensive as hell. Its been the main way I score/pin good wrestlers. Is leg ridin frowned upon? I do get mixed reactions when I do it but I feel in good control and they practically give it to you.

Leg riding is the way to go. IMO. Crab riding can be offensive for back points. 2-3 point near falls, but not so much for pining, at least I haven't seen a lot of it.

I totally disagree with the argument that every fighter is gonna need a wrestling base to be at an elite level in the sport... People were probably thinking that about bjj too 20 years ago when royce was dominating with bjj yet today theirs elite fighters who dont train very much bjj but are still competing at a high level in the sport such as chael sonnen. I think for the next generation all you're gonna need is a good standup, good bjj, and great takedown defense.
