thats just pathetic...this tournament is a joke. the ref actually seems happy to raise the other guys hand. I saw a ton of dqs at pan ams but Im starting to believe there was clear bias after seeing some of these matches.

I just don't understand why they don't give our warning... every other tournament does that. Straight DQ is ridiculous, some mistakes happen, you should get warned, reset and move on.

that electric chair dq was a justified call by the ref. the only leg lock allowed in the blue belt division is the straight ankle. it's in the rule book on ibjjf.org .Last edited by ian quinto; 11-14-2011 at 06:05 AM.

because the refs actually expect the competitors to read the rule book when preparing for the tourney. what do you think should happen if someone gets injured? just reset and move on? Originally Posted by Sam Bergeron
