Cobrinha's guard retention is amazing. If Rader wasnt such a crafty scrambler Cobrinha would have gotten multiple sweeps. I couldnt tell if time ran out or if cobrinha ended up getting the RNC...?#10thplanetFREAKS

Time ran out. The only person to finish Rader no-gi at Black Belt is Mendes I believe, with an anaconda choke and a RNC at ADCC 09 and 11. Cobrinha is his his only other Black Belt loss. Rader is a beast and people sleep on him big time. The way he uses the guillotine to flip over the guard is the shit.

Rader really is a beast. He took out everyone until he had to face Mendes again at this last ADCC. Mendes seems to be Rader's kryptonite Originally Posted by Mike Nall

Unfortunately, that was only one match. Both times he's lost to Mendes in ADCC have been the Quarter Finals (2nd match). But yeah, Rader has a tough style to beat. Real good top game. He even beat Jeff Glover in a Superfight earlier this year. Originally Posted by Brent Smith
